Cyrus' Social Links
Cyrus DeShield has a story to inspire the masses!! He was a Liberian refugee who had to flee his country due to the civil war and for some time he and his family got separated through all the chaos.
Cyrus way of healing and expressing himself came by way of music. At the age of 15, he won on the iconic show, "Showtime at the Apollo." Cyrus developed a strong passion for music that kept him focused on a journey through so many NOs, a couple of unfruitful deals, losing his father and
finding himself again through his love for music.
Cyrus's pain fueled his passion and it was his gift of songwriting that will ultimately land him an undeniable seat at the table. Being a part of a Grammy-nominated Album and Billboard charting songs & Albums (listed below), here Cyrus stands before us as a made man.
A man who didn't give up. A man who decided to step out on faith and after all the "Nos", decided to tell himself "Yes."
We invite you to take this journey with Cyrus as he embarks on his journey out of the shadows of songwriting and into the limelight as an artist!
Cyrus's music has been highlighted on ESPN by the WNBA team the LA Sparks. He's also working with New Edition's Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike in their new group RBRM on their new
single entitled "Move! Go!"
There are many more things on the way!!!
